Dr. Robert B. Kennedy
Dr. Robert B. Kennedy is a twin cities native who graduated from Alexander Ramsey High School. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota College of Biological Sciences. He received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with a major in Biology, and a minor in Chemistry. He received a Doctor of Optometry (O.D) degree at Pacific University College of Optometry in Portland, Oregon. He received post-graduate education from the American Academy of Optometry, and the William Feinbloom Legacy advanced training in low vision care.
Dr. Kennedy is a charter member of the Society of Eyecare Specialists, a nationally recognized group involving the best optometric practices in the United States. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry and a member of the American Optometric Association. He has been a clinical researcher for over 25 years in FDA clinical studies on contact lenses, solutions, and pharmaceuticals.
Dr. Kennedy is an Optometric Physician, and has been certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry, and by the Minnesota Board of Optometry. He routinely performs services in primary eye care and contact lenses. He specializes in the fitting of complex therapeutic contact lenses (especially for patients who have Keratoconus) and also provides services in "Low Vision" by designing and fitting specialty optical aides and telemicroscopes. He manages patients with ocular allergy, ocular disease, glaucoma, and the use of punctal occlusion for dry eye management and he performs pre & post-operative examinations for LASIK and cataract surgeries.
Dr. Lee Schneider
Dr. Lee Schneider grew up in Appleton WI, graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield MN with a degree in Chemistry then went on to receive his Doctorate in Optometry at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago.
Dr. Schneider completed external rotations in surgical co-management at Valley Eye Associates in Appleton WI, in ocular disease at the Harry S. Truman VA in Columbia MO, in primary and urgent care at the Brown Center in East Providence RI and at the Illinois Eye Institute where he received clinical honors in Contact Lenses.
Dr. Schneider enjoys volunteering at home and abroad. He has given eye exams with Special Olympics Opening Eyes and has done a volunteer optometric services to humanity (VOSH) trip to Oaxaca Mexico.
In his free time Dr. Schneider likes golfing, biking, hiking, cross-country skiing and exploring the Twin Cities with his wife Vivien who is also an optometrist.
